Allen Estates
Groundbreaking Ceremony
Frontline Development Group, LLC, a minority-owned, female-led firm, breaks ground on The Allen Estates Project in Cleveland's Hough Neighborhood at the Historic League Park. Less than ten minutes from downtown, the group plans to introduce a mixed-use, mixed-income, neighborhood consisting of 237 housing units comprised of modern designed homes, brownstones, and mid-rise apartments with commercial tenants. The Frontline team is working closely with the City of Cleveland and other partners to create walkable streets and bring amenities to the area including smart technology. The project will span along E. 65th from Linwood to Wade Park as well as the E. 66th Corridor, which is targeted for significant infrastructure investment. The corridor connects the Allen Estates to other anchor investments coming online including the new location for the Cleveland Foundation Headquarters and the newest branch of Cleveland Public Library. The Allen Estates project will provide housing to the Hough community, as well as the newly anticipated Innovation District and neighboring institutions such as Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital.
